SUMMARY:
The role involves Python Developers working within a Test Development and Automation group for a leading wireless organization. Responsibilities include full participation in the development life cycle, ensuring product quality and performance through automated testing, and exposing product features via a management interface. Candidates should have significant experience in software development, particularly with Python and related technologies. The position is classified as outside IR35.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Participate in the development life cycle for new features, including specification writing, design, implementation, and testing.
- Deliver new features from design through to development and testing, including prototyping as necessary.
- Ensure product quality and performance through automated tests integrated within a Continuous Integration system.
- Expose product features and capabilities through a configuration and management interface.
KEY SKILLS:
- Overall software developer experience of 5+ years, preferably with Python related applications.
- Proficiency in Python Version 3 (3+ years).
- Experience with asynchronous programming (3+ years).
- Familiarity with InfluxDB, RedisDB, PostgreSQL, or similar SQL (1 year plus or equivalent).
- Experience in an Agile environment and with REST APIs is advantageous.
