Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Site Manager with expertise in the refurbishment of natural stone and terrazzo flooring. The role focuses on grinding, repair, sealing, and restoration to ensure high-quality finishes and durability. Works are to be completed within a unique live building.
Important Notes
- This role involves working with Natural Stone - If you do not have experience with such, we are unable to process your application.
- This is a contractor role for an initial 12 week period.
Responsibilities
- Oversee on-site refurbishment of natural stone and terrazzo flooring.
- Manage grinding, repair, sealing, and restoration processes.
- Ensure quality control and adherence to client expectations.
- Supervise tradespeople and subcontractors.
- Maintain safety standards and compliance with regulations.
- Coordinate deliveries and site logistics.
- Maintain accurate records of project progress and site activities including project updates at end of each shift via specific App based platform.
Requirements
What we need our Site Manager to have:
- Proven hands-on experience in stone and terrazzo flooring refurbishment.
- Expertise in grinding and sealing techniques.
- Strong leadership and site management skills.
- Understanding of health and safety regulations.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CSCS, SMSTS).
