Job Purpose
We are seeking AI Developers (plural) to join our research team working on an exciting government-funded AI project to build out and commercialise our Red Flag Service. Red Flag will leverage AI Agents to crawl company structures to identify and detect potential financial crime risks and threats. Be part of an impactful project that aims to address critical social issues through the power of AI and data analysis. This role offers the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to tackling financial crime and supporting social justice through cutting-edge technology.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement AI-driven financial crime detection models using Generative AI (GenAI) and Agentic AI approaches.
- Design and build intelligent AI agents that autonomously analyse structured and unstructured company and news media data.
- Integrate and optimise Agentic AI workflows using tools like n8n, CrewAI, AutoGen, or similar.
- Work with MongoDB to manage and process large-scale company datasets efficiently.
- Develop and maintain backend agent services in C# or Python to support AI models and data pipelines.
- Develop front end web application (Angular) to drive the process.
- Collaborate with the wider research development team to refine AI methodologies integrate findings into the development of a scalable solution.
Experience
- Strong programming skills in C# or Python.
- Experience with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases.
- Proficiency in Generative AI Agentic AI, with practical experience in tools like CrewAI, AutoGen, LangFlow, n8n, Azure AI Foundry etc.
- Strong LLM prompting skills including use of RAG vector databases fine tuning LLM training.
- Ability to design implement AI-driven workflows for real-world applications.
- Experience with developing micros services event driven solutions DAPR a real benefit.
- Understanding of financial crime risks company structures or related domains is a plus.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure AWS GCP) related services for data storage processing
- Strong problem-solving skills attention detail analytical mindset
- Excellent communication skills both written verbal collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary team
