Description

IT Consultancy looking for an SC Cleared DevOps Engineer to join a new government project. The ideal candidate will have experience working in the public sector and have experience analysing and optimising system performance to ensure high availability and responsiveness.

Contract Details:
- Duration: 3 Month Contract
- IR35 Status: Outside IR35
- Rate: £450 per day
- Working Arrangement: Remote Working

Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage scalable, reliable cloud infrastructure in platforms such as AWS.
- Automate repetitive tasks using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Develop, enhance, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth software delivery and deployment processes.
- Set up and maintain monitoring tools such as Grafana or Datadog to track system performance and reliability.
- Implement security best practices in infrastructure, including role-based access control (RBAC), encryption, and vulnerability management.

Minimum Requirements of Role:
- Proficient in managing cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Strong experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD.
- Expertise in scripting and automation with Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Knowledge of containerisation and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.
- Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
- Strong understanding of networking, DNS Firewalls ,and load balancing.
