Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled IT & Digital Project Manager to lead the planning, assessment, and remediation activities for infrastructure, networks, and operational technology (OT) across multiple manufacturing sites. This role requires strong collaboration with IT, Cyber, Enterprise Architecture, and Supply teams, as well as on-site factory teams to ensure successful execution.
The Project Manager will oversee Fit-Gap Assessments and manage the implementation of standardized IT/OT solutions across 12 manufacturing sites, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop detailed project plans for the assessment and remediation of manufacturing site infrastructure.
• Lead Fit-Gap assessments, ensuring site information is gathered and readiness for assessment is achieved.
• Collaborate with IT, OT, and factory teams to coordinate technical knowledge sessions.
• Manage vendor onboarding, orientation, and work permit activities for site teams.
• Facilitate project meetings, kick-off sessions, and stakeholder engagements.
• Ensure timely review and approval of design documentation by internal teams.
• Produce weekly status reports, tracking progress, risks, and issues.
• Lead daily stand-up calls to monitor project execution and resolve escalations.
• Ensure that factory-level challenges and risks are managed effectively.
• Maintain a focus on continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
Required Skills and Experience:
• 10+ years of experience in project management, ideally in IT/OT infrastructure and manufacturing environments.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production planning, supply chain, and quality management.
• Proven experience managing large-scale, cross-functional projects.
• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Azure DevOps, ServiceNow SPM).
• Strong Excel skills for project tracking and reporting.
• Ability to influence and collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including technical and non-technical teams.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certification (preferred).
Contract Details:
• Duration: 6 months (with potential for extension)
• Location: Hybrid – Slough-based, must be able to travel to factories as required
• Rate: £400-£450, Outside IR35
