Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Middle Office Business Analyst with a strong background in structured products, trade lifecycle processes, and automation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in understanding how structured products are built, their trade processes, and the operational workflows from execution to post-trade reporting.

Responsibilities:
- Identify inefficiencies in current Middle Office processes; define automation solutions to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Provide detailed analysis on how structured products are built, executed, processed across their lifecycle.
- Map out/document existing trade workflows; ensure full coverage from trade execution to T+1/T+2 post-trade reporting.
- Develop clear phased implementation plans transitioning from current state to fully optimized target state; ensure seamless migration between short-, medium-, long-term goals.
- Collaborate with diverse stakeholders including Quants, Front Office (FO), Traders, Compliance, Legal & Finance; ensure alignment on automation initiatives.
- Ensure process automation aligns with regulatory requirements; risk controls & industry best practices.
- Work closely with technology teams to integrate automation tools; ensure compatibility with existing trading platforms & reporting systems.
- Ensure end-to-end trade data integrity; capture/reconcile all key data points accurately for T+1/T+2 regulatory & financial reporting.
- Support change management efforts including UAT testing/training/roll-out of automation solutions.

Key Skills and Experience:
To succeed in this role you will need:
- Proven experience (8+ years) as a Middle Office Business Analyst within an investment bank/hedge fund/asset management firm.
- Deep knowledge of structured products including structure/trade/processes.
- Strong understanding of trade lifecycle management from execution through post-trade settlement/reporting.
- Experience with process automation/workflow optimization leveraging tools like Alteryx/Python/RPA solutions preferred.
- Proficiency working with stakeholders across Quants/Front Office/Traders/Compliance/Legal/Finance.
- Strong analytical/problem-solving skills; keen eye for process inefficiencies & automation opportunities.
- Excellent communication skills both written/verbal for documenting/presenting findings effectively.
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously in dynamic fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with trading platforms market data systems/post-trade reconciliation tools.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with technology teams on system integration projects
- Knowledge of regulatory reporting requirements (e.g., MiFID EMIR Dodd Frank)
- Understanding of risk management principles/control
- Hands-on experience business process modeling (e.g., BPMN Visio) SQL for data analysis
