A global leader in industrial automation and instrumentation solutions, mainly to the Process, Oil & Gas, Chemical and Pharma industries, are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join their team on a contract basis.
Info about what the Quality Assurance Engineer role entails
- Assist in refining and evaluating the extant Project Quality Management system by establishing requisite protocols, blueprints, and operational directives as necessary.
- Supervise the enactment of the Asset/Project/Function Quality Management System through periodic audits and evaluations.
- Provide backing and oversight in implementing Yokogawa’s CDM QMS on projects.
- Generate project-specific quality documentation for client ratification, such as Quality Plans, ITPs, and Databooks with appropriate frameworks.
- Participate in and furnish input for technical HSE and integrity reviews.
- Establish and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to assess quality performance across diverse stages of work development and project phases.
- Ensure the integration of QA requirements into Documents, Contracts, and Purchase Orders for both subcontractors and suppliers.
- Evaluate quality standards within tender submissions and offer support during contract evaluation and award procedures for MWCs, Sub-Contractors, and Suppliers.
- Monitor and document compliance levels and instances of nonconformities.
- Lead or attend meetings to dispense professional QA counsel to the project team.
- Identify and manage risks that may impede the attainment of quality objectives.
Requirements of the Quality Assurance Engineer
- Experience of applying CDM Regulations
- Background managing quality through full lifecycle of Design Build projects
- Proven track record working on National Gas projects
- Knowledge of ISO 9001
