Business Analyst - Tier 1 Investment Bank

London/Remote (3 days in office)
Rate:
£550 - £675/day (Umbrella)
Contract:
1 Year (rolling)
A Tier 1 Investment Bank is seeking a
highly analytical Business Analyst
to support a
major 2.5-year regulatory operations transformation program
within its
Markets division
. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in
data analysis, technology implementations, and large-scale transformation projects
across multiple asset classes.
Key Responsibilities:
Initiate and drive a
regulatory operations project
focused on
control enhancements
across Operations and Front Office
Deep dive into
complex data sets
, providing meaningful insights and recommendations
Work on critical transformation initiatives, including
settlements, confirmations, and trade booking
Engage with senior stakeholders, acting as an SME in data-driven decision-making
Support regulatory-driven programs such as
OCC Consent Orders and MRAs
Define and document
business requirements, KPIs, and cost-benefit analyses
Collaborate with technology teams on the implementation and enhancement of data-driven solutions
Key Skills & Experience:
Strong
data analysis
expertise - ability to work with large datasets and extract meaningful insights
Experience with
technology implementations and cross-product transformation programs
Background in
finance manual adjustments and payments
is highly beneficial
Exposure to regulatory change programs such as
OCC Consent Orders, MRAs, and broader compliance initiatives
Strong stakeholder management and ability to engage with business and technology teams
Proficiency in
Excel, PowerPoint, JIRA, Confluence
, and other data visualization tools
