Description
Responsibilities:
- Leading role in building solutions to improve our infrastructure operations, enabling us to run a lean organization and automate as much as possible.
- Designing and implementing new solutions to complex problems.
- Executing defined work packages.
- Writing to ensure our solutions are well documented and simple to understand.
- Running handover activities with Operations teams.
- Building enhancements and fixes where necessary.
Core Skills:
- At least 8 years’ experience in cloud administration and/or information security.
- Strong experience in building and optimizing CI/CD Pipelines.
- Practical knowledge of packaging and deploying applications.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud.
- Strong understanding of security reviews, reports, and audits.
- Strong experience with implementing and maturing Azure Cloud security controls and procedures.
- Strong experience with git (e.g. using tools such as GitHub).
- Kubernetes container-orchestration experience.
- Experience with public cloud platforms (e.g. PaaS, IaaS, FaaS).
- Experience in DevOps lifecycle processes and supporting tools.
- Experience working in an Agile team.
- Experience working as a Scrum Master.
- Strong communication skills with multiple examples of being able to convey complex ideas in a manner that resulted in a definitive direction and result.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with implementing and maturing Google Cloud security controls and procedures.
- Experience in designing and building technical solutions.
- Experience within an infrastructure operations environment.
- Strong scripting capabilities (PowerShell, Python, Bash).
- Experience with Ansible automation.
- Experience with virtualization solutions (VMWare).
