General Summary:
The role of Regional Commercial Analytics Associate Director provides advisory and operational analytics business partnership to the regional & country teams within the International Commercial organization, acting as a trusted advisor to leaders, enabling the achievement of business strategies. This role reports to the International Sr. Director of Global Insights Analytics & Commercial Operations (GIACO), with a dotted line into the Regional Vice President (RVP) of Northern Europe, Australia & Distributor Markets (NEAD) spanning across more than 50 markets. These are highly diverse established markets like Northern Europe and Australia to new markets across the distributors region.

The role is primarily responsible for providing expert guidance leveraging data and analytics, acting as a trusted advisor to the Regional and Country Leadership Team on strategic decision-making. This includes leading commercial capabilities change management within the region, for all in-line products and (future) product launches spanning across the expansion of our current CF portfolio as well as haematology.

This role will be focused on proactively shaping the strategy of region, providing leadership and expert guidance for continuous improvement of country execution and performance monitoring, being a trusted advisor to the NEAD RVP and lead Team to build insight and analytics driven teams, commercial capabilities and competitive mindsets for the future. The role will be based in Vertexโ€™s regional office in London and will work in close partnership with colleagues based in International HQ, regional and local teams.

Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively defines, builds and implements the Regional Analytics Roadmap, leveraging data and analytics to generate actionable insights providing strategic decision support to regional and country teams โ€“ ensuring investments in right areas.
- Establishes strategies/tactics enabling business achievement of commercial goals; acts as conduit sharing business needs with IHQ functions.
- Partners with International GIACO team aligning on common KPIโ€™s; develops custom solutions where necessary.
- Proactively leads change management by building data/digital literacy within NEAD region; partners with country Analytics personnel.
- Responsible for driving/shaping data quality framework ensuring high standards across region; identifies opportunities for process improvement.
- Leads governance framework including ownership of Quarterly Business Reviews; shapes/facilitates agenda providing insights.
- Active membership on GIACO/NEAD Leadership Teams offering input on strategic priorities/execution tactics.
- Acts as point contact for International Commercial Capabilities initiatives driving change management/tracking adoption.

Education:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, biotech, operations or related discipline with extensive years of experience.

- Change Agent โ€“ ability driving/shaping change management initiatives
- Ability managing complexity from increasing launches/new therapeutic areas
- Prior commercial experience is essential
- Strong analytical mindset demonstrated through understanding impact from data/reporting interpretation
- Ability working fast-paced evolving environment focusing on multi-tasking/self-prioritized workload
- Digital agility โ€“ good understanding multi-channel marketing/market research is beneficial
- Innovative/flexible approach thriving finding solutions outside box
- Excellent communication/presentation skills fluent verbal/written English
- Able developing rapport/credibility key stakeholders including senior leadership comfortable leading without authority

Demonstrated ability working independently/managing complex projects requiring collaboration across functional/geographic areas.
