Company Overview:
Ingenii Search are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join an international business on a contract basis.
Job Details:
- The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on Windows environments, automation, XML, and Ansible.
- This role falls outside IR35 and is 2 days WFH, 3 days onsite.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and optimise Windows-based infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance.
- Design and develop automation scripts using Ansible to manage configuration and deployment across various environments.
- Create, manage, and troubleshoot complex XML configurations and data integrations.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and alerting systems to support deployment automation.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth integration of new applications and services into the infrastructure.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes / K8's.
- Maintain and improve infrastructure security by implementing best practices and security tools.
- Conduct troubleshooting, incident response, and root cause analysis for infrastructure issues.
- Ensure that all infrastructure components are documented, maintainable, and scalable.
Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in a DevOps or similar role with a strong emphasis on Windows environments.
- Proficiency in Windows server administration and Azure.
- Extensive experience with automation tools, particularly Ansible for configuration management and deployment.
- Solid understanding of XML for data exchange, configuration, and integrations.
- Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI or Azure DevOps.
- Strong understanding of networking, security, and infrastructure best practices.
- Ability to work independentlyand remotely while collaborating effectively with distributed teams.
