Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients to understand their DevOps engineering needs and objectives
- Work in scrum-like environments for iterative and fail-fast' work and innovation.
- Work in cross-disciplinary teams, providing CI/CD and deployment expertise.
- Design, develop, and implement high-quality solutions for cloud and on-premise environments.
- Utilise your expertise to architect robust and scalable systems with network and cyber security best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients to gather project requirements, analyse feasibility, and provide technical recommendations.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends, tools, and technologies in DevOps engineering; share your knowledge with the team.
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure successful project delivery within defined timelines and budget.
- Communicate technical content at the right level both internally and to customers.
- Accurately deliver high quality work to agreed timelines; take initiative when needed.
- Support client engagements including pitches & presentations.
- Help support & grow Daintta by actively inputting into company strategy; help shape our future.

Skills/Knowledge
The role requires the following key skills / knowledge:
- 2+ years professional experience as DevOps engineer preferably in a consultancy or industry setting.
- Experience working with one or more Cloud service providers AWS, GCP or Azure.
- An understanding of developing solutions that are cloud-ready; cloud/on-prem agnostic.
- Good understanding of infrastructure-as-code principles; experience in practical application (e.g., provisioning/deployment via Ansible, Terraform).
- Understanding of building solutions considering Network Security considerations.
- Understanding of cloud networking concepts such as Private VPCs; Security Groups; NAT Gateways.
- Experience working in Unix/Linux environments.
- Familiarity with software development methodologies such as Agile or Scrum particularly iterative approaches alongside clients.
- Excellent problem-solving & analytical skills; ability to find innovative solutions for complex technical challenges.
- Excellent communication & presentation skills or strong communication & interpersonal skills for effective interaction with clients/team members.
- Ability to adapt quickly new technologies fast-paced environments
- A passion for delivering high-quality solutions that meet client expectations
- Familiarity Software Engineering practices/principles such as CI/CD pipelines verifying/building/testing/pushing deployment artefacts
- Experience OCI containerisation (e.g., Docker) associated orchestration technologies (e.g., Kubernetes)
- Experience deploying services OCI images production systems associated CI/CD robust successful deployment (e.g., GitHub actions GitLab pipelines Azure DevOps pipelines)
- Understanding setting up centralised logging monitoring deployed infrastructure

Location
Hybrid position requiring 2–3 days working from Daintta office (London/Cheltenham) or on client site as required.
