Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced SuccessFactors Data Migration Lead to oversee the extraction, transformation, and migration of HR data from legacy systems into SAP SuccessFactors. This role requires deep expertise in data migration strategies, data quality assurance, and stakeholder management. The ideal candidate will work closely with HR, IT, and business teams to ensure a seamless and accurate transition of critical workforce data, adhering to best practices and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Data Migration Strategy: Define and implement an effective data migration strategy, ensuring alignment with project timelines and business objectives.
Data Extraction & Transformation: Oversee the extraction, cleansing, and transformation of HR data from multiple legacy systems to SuccessFactors.
Data Mapping & Validation: Develop comprehensive data mapping documents and validation processes to ensure data integrity.
ETL Processes: Design and manage ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) workflows using appropriate tools and methodologies.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with HR, IT, payroll, and external vendors to gather data migration requirements and resolve data-related challenges.
Testing & Reconciliation: Conduct data validation, reconciliation, and parallel testing to ensure accuracy before go-live.
Compliance & Security: Ensure compliance with GDPR, local data privacy regulations, and organisational security policies.
Issue Resolution: Identify and troubleshoot data inconsistencies, duplicates, and errors; implementing corrective measures where necessary.
Documentation & Knowledge Transfer: Maintain detailed documentation of data migration processes; lessons learned; post-migration support guidelines.
Essential Skills & Experience
Education: Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science; Information Systems; HR Technology; or a related field.
Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in data migration projects; at least 3 years specialising in SAP SuccessFactors.
- Proven experience in leading large-scale HR data migration initiatives.
Technical Expertise:
- Strong knowledge of SuccessFactors'data modelsand integration methods.
- Expertise in SQL; ETL tools (e.g., SAP Data Services; Alteryx; Informatica);anddata transformation techniques.
- Experience working withSuccessFactors MDF objects,OData APIs,andIntegration Center.
- Proficiencyin Excel,VBA,and scripting for datamanipulation.
Soft Skills:

Desirable Qualifications
SAP SuccessFactors certification (Employee Central or Integration).
