A Day in the Life
The Acute Care and Monitoring Team partner with healthcare teams to advance patient safety and prevent and treat life-threatening conditions. We focus on critical care areas (OR and ICU) and go further across the full continuum of care to avoid perioperative complications and respiratory compromise. The Acute Care & Monitoring (ACM) UK Conversion Specialist is responsible for positioning the ACM Solutions focusing specifically on Nellcor within the NHS Setting. This role will be working primarily within the NICU, SCBU, Paediatrics & Labour & Delivery clinical setting with an enhanced focus on clinical and outcome-based benefits. The key to the success of this role will be networking with KOL’s and a wide range of stakeholders in addition to fostering a collaborative working environment with the account managers, RC Specialists & BDM’s. This is a UK national role.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Develop, build, and strengthen long-term relationships with stakeholders, including Neonatologists, Paediatric Anaesthetists, Department and Directorate leads, Lead Nurses and EBME as well as finance and procurement teams
- Pursue leads, assess needs, and provide product services to maximize the benefits derived from Medtronic's products or services
- Promote establish education of the company's products or services
- Conduct market research including customers' competitors' activities share with Marketing OEM department
- Implement market development plans/strategies make changes as needed
- Communicate customer feedback on new products modifications existing products applications internal stakeholders including R&D Operations OEM department Marketing
- Actively seeking new conversion opportunities be on site competitive intelligence head-to-head comparison
Required Knowledge Experience:
- University Degree in Medicine Life-science Engineering Business Administration Biology another relevant advanced degree
- Clinical background comprehensive understanding healthcare system territory country level
- At least 5 years successful sales experience healthcare market emphasis medical device pharmaceutical sales
- Open direct communication style strong interpersonal skills written verbal levels organization
- Strong competitive drive high sense urgency
- Fluency English written spoken
- Demonstrated ability work independently projects duties contributing larger team
