Experience and Qualifications

- Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years prior Service Design experience of designing enterprise solutions.
- Ability to produce design documentation artefacts including high level designs, low level designs, installation and operation guides, as well as technical notes and knowledge base documentation within medium to large scale Software Distribution solutions.

Specific Skills and Responsibilities

- Configuration Manager Current Branch
- Prototyping of server & desktop builds with SCCM.
- Use of Configuration Management system to update and retrieve software and config data.

- App-V
- Packaging and distribution - standalone and integrated.

- VDI Gold Image
- Deployment and ongoing management of VDI Gold Images.

- Office Deployment
- Deployment and ongoing management of Office 2013, 2016 and O365.

- Infrastructure Design and Installation
- Infrastructure design and installation.

- WSUS
- Management and administration of WSUS.

Essential Skills

- Team and Independent Work
- Team player but can also work unsupervised.

- Diagnostic and Fault-Finding Skills
- Expert level diagnostic and logical fault-finding skills to a 4th line level.

- Network Protocols and Technologies
- Understanding of network protocols (e.g. HTTP, HTTPS, TCP etc...) and associated technologies (e.g. AD, GPO's, SSL, IIS, WDS).

- Physical and Virtual Environments
- Exposure and working knowledge of both physical and virtual environments.

- Virtual Infrastructure Skills
- Virtual infrastructure skills, administration for templates, clones and virtual disks.
