Position Summary:
We are looking for an individual with practical experience of environmental coordination, assessment, and team management to join and lead our Environmental Management team in London. Key areas of growth in this region include the Water market supporting South East Water, Southern Water, Thames Water; the Energy market supporting various energy companies; as well as work with a range of Local Authorities.

You will work collaboratively with various technical specialists on a broad range of projects; lead and coordinate Environmental Impacts Assessments (EIA) along with related deliverables; work closely with clients; develop new areas of business; and mentor colleagues in the team.
Qualifications:
- Educated to degree level in an environmental or related discipline.
- Comprehensive understanding required for EIA.
- Comprehensive experience in Environmental Management.

Responsibilities:
- Leading on coordination/delivery of environmental work by multi-disciplinary teams including EIA options appraisals/environmental management.
- Line managing environmental professionals & liaising with Practice Management regarding running operations.
- Responsibility for programme/commercial aspects including budget control.
- Championing high standards within multidisciplinary engineering projects influencing project development/delivering optimal outcomes.
- Managing client needs confidently/professionally.
- Leading bid preparation/developing new business areas for team.
- Undertaking Continual Professional Development (CPD) per professional institute requirements while mentoring staff.
Requirements:
- Degree or Masters in an environmental or science subject.
- Chartered status with relevant post-graduate experience (ideally within consultancy).
- Experience working on major infrastructure projects.
- Comprehensive knowledge/experience regarding EIA process/environmental technical expertise preferred alongside leadership within multidisciplinary teams/report writing/verbal/presentation skills able to review others' quality.
