About the Role:
As Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in the financial management and success of our heavy highway projects. Your responsibilities will include:

- Developing accurate and detailed cost estimates and budgets for projects, ensuring feasibility and alignment with project goals.
- Administering and managing contracts with subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
- Overseeing procurement processes, including tendering, evaluating bids, and awarding contracts.
- Monitoring actual project costs against the approved budget, identifying and analyzing variances, and implementing cost-saving measures.
- Evaluating and valuing variations and claims arising from project changes or unforeseen circumstances.
- Preparing and negotiating claims against contractors and subcontractors for additional costs incurred.
- Analyzing and responding to claims submitted by contractors, ensuring fairness and compliance with contract terms.
- Potentially lodging claims on behalf of the company if necessary.
- Providing regular reports on cost performance to project managers and stakeholders.

Ideal Candidate Profile:
