Responsibilities
• Safeguard Innovation: Build security for large-scale AI clusters, implementing robust cloud security architecture including IAM, network segmentation, and encryption controls.
• Develop Secure Infrastructure: Design secure-by-design workflows across our services and cloud infrastructure, leveraging your expertise in AWS/GCP/Azure security services, Kubernetes security, and container orchestration.
• Integrate Security Practices: Embed security into our software development lifecycle, developing security automation tools and performing static and dynamic code analysis to detect vulnerabilities.
• Lead Threat Mitigation: Conduct threat modeling to identify potential security threats and vulnerabilities, providing insights and guidance to prioritize remediation efforts.
• Mentor and Educate: Provide security training, guidance, and mentorship to engineering teams, fostering a culture of security awareness and excellence.
• Drive Cross-Functional Initiatives: Lead cross-functional security projects, navigating complex organizational dynamics to ensure robust secure software releases.
Qualifications
We are looking for talented security engineers with the following:
• Extensive Experience: 5+ years in software engineering with a focus on implementing and maintaining secure systems at scale.
• Cloud Security Expertise: In-depth knowledge of cloud-native security including AWS/GCP/Azure; IAM; container security; microservices architecture.
• Strong Technical Skills: Ability to write maintainable & secure code in Python & other languages such as C#, Java or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Security Framework Knowledge: Familiarity with various compliance frameworks & standards such as OWASP; PCI-DSS; ISO 27001; SOC 2 Type 2 & GDPR.
• Systems Thinking: Strong ability to identify & mitigate risks in complex environments & systems design.
• Excellent Communicator: Outstanding skills in translating technical concepts across all organizational levels.
