About this Position:

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee a newly secured large-scale automation project for a major blue-chip automotive company. The project is valued at £1.1M and will run from March to October.

This is a contract/freelance role, requiring flexibility, as the Project Manager will need to dip in and out as required. The ideal candidate should be able to invoice on a weekly or monthly basis based on time spent on the project.

Job Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage the end-to-end delivery of the automation project.
- Coordinate with stakeholders, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth execution.
- Oversee project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to meet client expectations.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks to ensure project success.
- Provide regular project updates and reporting.

Experience Required:

- Proven experience managing large-scale automation projects, preferably in the automotive sector.
- Strong background in project planning, stakeholder management, and risk assessment.
- Ability to work flexibly and adapt to project needs over the course of the contract.
- Experience working in a freelance or contract capacity with the ability to invoice based on time spent.
