Banijay UK Social Studio is a newly formed central team with a remit to promote Banijay UKโs extensive library of content on social media platforms, working across both marketing and monetisation priorities for the business to create best-in-class digital content. You will be part of a highly creative and collaborative team, working across a range of Banijay UK's biggest titles, including Would I Lie To You, Big Brother, Deal or No Deal, Richard Osman's House of Games, Interior Design Masters and more.
Job Purpose
The Digital Channels Lead is a senior member of the Banijay UK Social Studio team, working alongside the Head of Digital to implement the department strategy and deliver against editorial and monetisation KPIs. A key part of this role is overseeing the collation of data and insights, feeding back to senior stakeholders across the business to update on departmental performance as well as translating these insights into actionable workflows for the Banijay UK Social Studio team. The Digital Channels Lead is the brand guardian for all of Banijay UKโs digital output, ensuring best practice and accessibility standards are met across our output while empowering the team to create innovative content that positions Banijay UK Social Studio as an industry leader.
Duties
- Overseeing Banijay UK Social Studio team output and working with Senior Producers to ensure appropriate resourcing across projects.
- Work with Head of Digital to strategise for new digital channel launches.
- Overseeing data collation for departmental output and monitoring against KPIs; interpreting findings to create actionable insights for the team; presenting and translating data to senior stakeholders.
- Working collaboratively with other business areas to align Banijay UK Social Studio output with necessary business requirements (e.g., production teams, legal team, commercial team).
- Ensuring latest accessibility and best practice standards are communicated to the wider team and upheld in all content.
- Actively identifying ways to maximise success and growth within the Banijay UK Social Studio team.
- Working with Senior Digital Producers to interpret wider strategy into actionable outputs for individual titles and genre channels.
- Staying updated on new social platform business/CMS functionality in order to exploit enhanced revenue opportunities.
- Serving as key departmental point of contact for production labels, broadcasters, and social media platforms.
- Consulting on ad hoc digital activity across BUK labels where required.
- Recruiting freelance support as needed for ad hoc or larger campaign-based digital projects.
- Maintaining top-level understanding of rights compliance restrictions across BUK IPs as required.
- Working towards maintaining a creative collaborative environment within the studio team.
- Ensuring that wider departmental strategy is communicated effectively within teams.
- Line management responsibilities over Senior Producers.
Knowledge And Skills
Proven senior level experience devising large-scale creative social strategies against both editorial & financial KPIs. Hands-on content creation experience along with thorough understanding end-to-end content production process. Ability interpret social media data/insights translate into meaningful learnings/recommendations informing strategies; ability influence stakeholders at senior level; large scale budget management experience; strong knowledge in social media monetisation industry; extensive people/team management experience; deep understanding digital platforms reaching diverse audiences successfully building online brands nurturing linear TV's presence digitally strong network within industry including various social platforms.

Contract Type And Hours: Full time - 9:30am - 6pm
