We have an excellent new opportunity for a Project Engineering Manager working within the Nuclear industry.
Location: Sellafield, Cumbria
Role: Support the Sellafield DDP Framework
Security Clearance:
Candidates will require SC level security clearance. Existing clearance is preferable; otherwise, candidates must have the ability to achieve and retain security clearance (be a UK Citizen and not to have worked outside the UK for the past 5 years).
Responsibilities:
- Take the lead on projects in the design phase (supported by the PM).
- Coordinate and manage multi-discipline engineering teams to deliver FEED and Detailed Engineering Packages.
- Work covers all disciplines, with most work performed by Sub-Contractors.
- Manage projects for new buildings, demolition, decommissioning, CE&I & Mechanical Installs.
- Depending on project size/complexity, there would be a Responsible Engineer for each discipline; PEM would manage that integration.
- Civils is the predominant discipline; however, a discipline bias is not essential.
- Regular time at Westlakes Office project location required (minimum 2 days per week but can be discussed).
Skills and Experience:
Proven experience of managing multidiscipline teams during the FEED and EPC stages of Nuclear sector or similar Projects.
