Location: Southwark, London

Duration: 4 months (potentially extended for the right candidate)
Salary: Day rate £420 - £450 per day

We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Managing Quantity Surveyor to join our team, responsible for managing commercial and contractual aspects of projects under the TfL STIC Framework. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing change events, Early Warning Notices (EWNs), and the overall tendering process.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and assess change events and Early Warning Notices (EWNs) for various projects.
- Oversee the tendering process, ensuring compliance with project requirements and commercial terms.
- Manage quantities and documentation for the TfL STIC Framework.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
- Support in managing commercial teams and assist in commercial decision-making.
- Work with subcontractors and manage their performance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Maintain accurate cost value reconciliations (CVRs) and ensure regular reporting.

Preferred Experience:
- Experience managing a commercial team.
- Strong understanding and experience with NEC4 Option A contracts.
- Knowledge and experience in the self-delivery of projects.
- Expertise in subcontract management and working with external suppliers.
- Familiarity with framework-based projects.
- Experience in managing CVRs and other financial documentation.
