Job Dimensions:
- Responsible for assuring the quality of the CDP project for both functional and non-functional requirements.
- CDP is essential to our network security, meeting TSA requirements and improving our CAF level.
What you’ll be doing:
- Maintain scalable and reliable application stack by doing proactive monitoring, tuning and optimisation.
- Monitor system performance, identify issues, and implement solutions to improve reliability and performance.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure new features and services are reliable and scalable.
- Ensure right first time deployments by adopting efficient deployments strategies (running automated tests etc) before deploying code to production.
- Automate repetitive tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
- Develop and maintain monitoring, alerting, and incident response systems.
- Conduct root cause analysis of incidents and implement preventive measures.
- Document processes, procedures, and best practices.
The skills you’ll need to succeed:
- Proven experience as a Senior SRE or Lead SRE.
- Leading projects from a technical position.
- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, OpenStack or similar cloud technologies.
- Experience with Kafka and Elastic agent.
- Proficiency in scripting languages Python, Ansible, Terraform.
- Strong experience in implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with large scale data processing platforms.
- Experience in Network Management/monitoring tools.
- Network awareness understanding of basic routing protocols
- Excellent problem-solving skills attention to detail.
- Strong communication collaboration skills.
