Role Description
- Programme Manager required by a financial trading technology client in London.
- Responsible for overseeing the roadmap of the data governance space within the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess existing and upcoming regulations.
- Collaborate with risk and compliance teams to set out the roadmap for compliance and future reporting.
- Work with the business and technology teams to oversee the delivery of the roadmap.
- Partnered with a solutions architect and two engineers to deliver the roadmap.
- Report into the head of data.
Required Experience and Skills
- Strong experience as a Programme Manager.
- Excellent background in data governance and financial regulatory reporting.
- Experience with DORA (Digital Operational Resilience Act).
- Forward-thinking roadmap and strategic analysis of regulatory compliance in the data governance space.
- Excellent ability to deliver projects and collaborate with stakeholders in the business and technology.
Desirable Skills and Experience
- Knowledge of Soldata or equivalent tools.
- Experience with migrating from a cloud-based data lake to a data mesh architecture.
- Technical ability, though not essential.
Work Environment and Terms
- Flexible hybrid working arrangement.
- Duration: 12-24 months.
- Rate: £750-1000 per day.

- The role involves working on buy-side trading applications, front office risk, regulation, data governance, compliance, and regulatory reporting.
- Experience in areas such as equities, FX, fixed income, commodities, agile methodologies, derivatives, finance, asset management, investment management, and hedge funds is relevant.
