Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Procurement Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will assist in the procurement of technology solutions, manage vendor relationships, and ensure the seamless integration of new technologies into our clients' educational environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and implementation of procurement strategies
- Source and evaluate technology vendors and suppliers
- Negotiate contracts and terms with vendors to ensure cost-effective and high-quality procurement
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate the purchase of necessary equipment
- Collaborate with the Technology Integration Specialist to ensure seamless integration of new technologies
- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities and vendor performance
- Provide support in the resolution of any procurement-related issues or discrepancies
- Stay updated on market trends and advancements in educational technology
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- 1-2 years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a similar role
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of educational technology and trends is a plus
