My client is looking to recruit a Resident Engineer/Site Manager to oversee the civil construction of a large-scale solar project in Swindon. This roles involve managing on-site activities, ensuring construction meets high-quality standards, and keeping everything on track in terms of budget, safety, and project timelines.Role Overview:Lead on-site civil works, ensuring smooth project execution and adherence to design specifications.Manage contractors and subcontractors, driving project progress and resolving site challenges.Conduct regular site inspections to uphold quality, safety, and compliance standards.Oversee materials procurement, ensuring specifications are met.Maintain accurate documentation, including reports, schedules, and compliance records.Act as the key point of contact between project managers, stakeholders, and site teams.Provide technical expertise and ensure all work aligns with construction guidelines.Ideal Candidates:Proven experience in civil engineering or site management within the renewable energy sector (solar preferred).Strong understanding of construction management, site supervision, and quality assurance.Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.Confident in coordinating teams, managing contractors, and ensuring smooth project delivery.This is a fantastic opportunity for seasoned professionals to play a key role in delivering a Solar renewable energy project in the South West
