You will be working with a team of Passionate Software Engineers, Data Scientists and other stakeholders with the business.
About the Role:
As a Senior Software Engineer on our ML Platform team, you will be at the forefront of building and scaling the infrastructure that powers our machine learning initiatives. Your primary focus will be on designing, developing, and maintaining the tools and systems that enable our data scientists and ML engineers to efficiently build, train, deploy, and monitor models at scale. While you won't be directly developing ML models, a strong understanding of the machine learning lifecycle and its challenges will be crucial for building effective and impactful solutions. You will have the opportunity to impact a significant number of transactions and users daily. You'll also mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and innovation.

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust scalable software systems/tools that form the foundation of our ML platform including model training pipelines deployment infrastructure monitoring systems.
- Build/improve internal tools to streamline workflow for data scientists/ML engineers focusing on automation efficiency ease-of-use.
- Collaborate closely with data scientists ML engineers/infrastructure teams understand their needs translate them into effective technical solutions.
- Develop/maintain APIs/services enabling seamless integration between different components within ML ecosystem.
- Optimize performance/reliability ensuring it can handle demands high-volume low-latency applications.
- Evangelize best practices software development code quality testing deployment within ML platform team.
- Stay informed about latest trends technologies software engineering cloud infrastructure ML ecosystem identifying opportunities improve platform.
- Mentor/guide junior engineers sharing expertise helping them develop technical skills.
Requirements:
- A highly skilled software engineer with industry experience building maintaining large-scale distributed systems production environments.
- Proficient in Python/or Java strong understanding software design principles best practices.
- A strong problem solver passionate about building high-quality reliable scalable systems.
- An excellent communicator collaborator able work effectively both technical nontechnical stakeholders.
