Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced ServiceNow Tester with a strong attention to detail. This role will be joining the already established ServiceNow UK managed service. In this role, you will be a part of the UK ServiceNow product team reporting into the ServiceNow Product Owner. You will be responsible for product testing (SIT), co-ordinating UAT & documenting test outputs, working alongside our team of ServiceNow developers. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support with process improvements, enhance system efficiency & deliver high-quality service management solutions.

Note: We are looking for SC cleared or SC eligible resources.

Key Responsibilities
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a ServiceNow tester
- Planning, designing, and executing testing scenarios
- Document testing outputs/outcomes
- Be able to support with audit requirements (evidence testing of development)
- Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, key stakeholders and development teams to understand desired acceptance criteria ensuring this is clearly documented & delivered
- Develop comprehensive test plans where required.
- Write test scenarios and test scripts to cover functional, regression and performance testing
- Prioritise with the product & development teams to provide the testing efforts, assigning tasks and ensuring timely completion of test cycles
- Perform manual and automated testing as necessary, troubleshoot defects, and track issues to resolution
- Promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement within Mastek
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of testing standards, processes, and best practices
- Able to commute to the central Leeds office.

Knowledge Requirements
- Knowledge of ServiceNow development, including code familiarity (JavaScript, Glide)
- Good understanding of ServiceNow modules such as; ITSM, CSM, CMDB, Employee Centre & Integration Hub (REST & SOAP web services & API integrations)
- Fair understanding of ServiceNow out-of-the-box architecture
- Good understanding of the Atlassian products such as Jira & Confluence.

Skills Requirements
- Good analytical & problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
- Effective communication & interpersonal skills with ability to work collaboratively in fast-paced environment potentially across multiple customer environments.
- ITIL v4 qualified.

Must Have Skills
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies & tools.
- Good understanding of ServiceNow modules such as; ITOM & SPM.
- Good understanding of authentication methods used within ServiceNow.
