Role OverviewThe Post-Merger Integration IT M&A Project Manager will oversee the IT integration following an acquisition, ensuring alignment between key stakeholders, including the seller, M&A advisers and Technology service providers.The contract calls for a diplomatic and engaging Project Manager who can facilitate discussions, resolve roadblocks, and manage expectations across various IT and business teams.Key ResponsibilitiesStakeholder Engagement & FacilitationBring together key stakeholders across IT and business functions.Facilitate and lead meetings between internal teams, vendor, and service providers.Ensure vendor and other entities remain engaged and accountable.Manage executive-level reporting on integration progress.IT Due Diligence & Integration OversightOversee IT due diligence discovery (not hands-on but ensuring completeness).Ensure alignment across the seven IT pillars:HostingNetworkingIdentity & Access ManagementERPNon-ERP applicationsEnd-user computing & collaborationCybersecurityProject & Change ManagementEnsure Day 1 IT readiness and a structured post-Day 1 integration plan.Work with vendor sites to ensure smooth IT adoption.Address risks and challenges proactively, leveraging previous M&A experience.Candidate ProfileM&A IT Project Management experience (multiple deals, ideally with “cuts and bruises”).Strong stakeholder management and engagement skills—able to diplomatically align different parties.Experience working with Big 4 consultancies and IT service providers.Not highly technical, but must understand IT integration challenges across infrastructure, applications, and security.Background in large-scale IT transformations, M&A, or carve-outs.Change management expertise—able to navigate corporate politics and resistance.Engagement DetailsInitial contract: 6 months (likely extension beyond this).On-site requirement: 3 days a week in-office (Monday & Friday remote).Expected travel to London, and other sites for key technical workshops.
