A leading London-based IT consultancy is seeking a talented and motivated AI Consultant with experience in the e-commerce sector to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the delivery of Data & AI Platform/Architecture DevOps projects and ensure Client expectations are met at all stages.
- Continue to develop new skills in Data & AI Platform/Architecture, with support from colleagues, to ensure that current methods are used where appropriate.
- Support the development on internal initiatives related to Data & AI Platform/Architecture for capability growth and Business Development purposes.
- Deliver work in a structured manner, balancing creativity and practicality to meet client standards efficiently within agreed timescales.
- Work effectively in a team, supporting peers in delivering at pace and meeting high internal standards of output and delivery.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven success in data & AI platform consulting, with a track record of delivering successful data-driven projects.
- Excellent stakeholder management and presentation skills; proven ability to help clients understand and unlock value from their data.
- Passion for solving real-world business problems using data-driven approaches.
- Good foundation in data engineering involving building and maintaining data pipelines for efficient data movement and transformation.
- Knowledge of modern Data architecture patterns including Data Lake, Data Warehouse, Data Mesh.
- Architectural or engineering knowledge of one or more of the following platforms: Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Databricks, Snowflake.
- Architectural or feature knowledge of one or more programming languages/packages: Python, Java, Scala, Spark, SQL, NoSQL databases.
- Experience working within Agile delivery methodologies.
- Proven ability to be successful in a matrixed organization; able to enlist support from peers in selling/delivering consulting solutions.
- Experience of proposition building and delivery.
- Certification in at least one area related to data architecture or management space.
Currently working in a major Consulting firm or industry but having a Consulting background is preferred.
