What You'll Do
As the Tech Capital Sector Senior Manager within BCG s Principal Investors & Private Equity Practice Area (PIPE PA), you will work closely with the Sector and PA leadership to support and run the Sector business with a strong focus on developing and commercializing products. You will be sought as a thought partner, supporting leadership in setting the strategic agenda and defining implementation activities for the business while also engaging and driving sector content & IP development initiatives.
Other tasks include:
- Business analysis and planning
- Staffing support
- Lead organization of global/regional sector meetings/calls
- Prepare key presentations
- Manage internal sector communication/affiliation activities
In addition:
- Manage commercial plan/monitor state of business (lead flow/proposal pipeline/sold cases)
- Reach out to relevant Client Officers/Managing Directors
- Work with Marketing team on publications/newsletters/internal/external events
- Own sector content/liaise with industry platforms/associations
You're Good At:
Self-starting with strong work ethic/entrepreneurial drive
Earning respect from senior cohort (Managing Directors) remotely located
Juggling Leadership Team priorities/viewpoints while meeting deadlines
Operating effectively in Matrix organization - prioritize/make decisions/manage ambiguity
Complex project management - multi-task/drive advanced strategic analysis

Working closely with Knowledge Team on regional/sector priorities/content/client activities
Executing budget monitoring/managing commercialization/tracking impact

What You'll Bring
8-10 years relevant experience
Master's degree preferred
Role related certifications preferred
Ability To:
Manage/drive accountabilities contributing to higher level agenda setting
Lead complex/broad sub functional teams/projects independently
Resolve complex issues/non-defined problems autonomously
Also:
Strong interpersonal skills/credibility
Influence senior members beyond sector
