Description
Experience Requirements:
- Experience in project management and creating project initiation documents.
- Understanding of designing and managing projects to improve health and reduce inequalities.
- Experience working in substance misuse or public health is not required.
Key Skills:
- Detail-focused with the ability to work independently to achieve project milestones.
- Self-motivated and confident in working independently while maintaining regular communication with the Health Improvement Programme Manager.
- Strong report writing skills and excellent proofreading in English.
- Proficient skills in using Microsoft software applications.
Role Responsibilities:
- Support the Health Improvement Programme Manager with the next phase of commissioning an all-age substance misuse service.
- Collaborate closely with partners to understand their priorities and how these align with the recommissioning of an all-age substance misuse service.
- Create project management documents, such as action logs, risk logs, stakeholder maps, etc.
- Consult with the Health Improvement Programme Manager to understand governance processes in the Council and necessary steps for completion.
Contract Details:
- 6-month contract for 15 hours per week.
