Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Agile PM to join a Consultancy Client on an initial 3-month contract. This role is ideal for a professional with a strong background in delivering data-focused projects, managing cross-functional teams, and driving Agile methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage data projects, ensuring successful delivery within scope, time, and budget constraints.
- Facilitate Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Collaborate with Data Engineers, Software Engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and project success.
- Act as a servant leader for the Scrum teams, removing impediments and ensuring teams remain productive and focused.
- Communicate project progress, risks, and challenges to clients and stakeholders effectively.
- Foster an environment of continuous improvement, encouraging feedback and innovation.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience as an Agile Project Manager with a strong track record of working on data projects.
- Hands-on experience collaborating with Data Engineers and Software Engineers.
- Deep understanding of Agile principles and practices including Scrum and Kanban.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to manage relationships with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to changing project needs.
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence or similar Agile project management platforms.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with data pipeline development or big data technologies is a plus.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
