Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic direction and leadership to product development team; fostering a culture of collaboration innovation and excellence.
- Oversee end-to-end development of product features from concept to production ensuring alignment with product requirements and company objectives.
- Lead the development team in the design development delivery of software.
- Foster a growing Agile empowered workplace; team ownership.
- Support coach advocate for team members.
- Build your team of software engineers Quality Engineers as we grow.
- Consult communicate with internal stakeholders throughout the business regarding development project expectations deliverables.
- Provide recommendations to implement tools frameworks that support improve the development environment.
- Collaborate with various functions drive engineering initiatives that can have an impact at organizational level.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives optimize feature development processes tools methodologies enhancing efficiency effectiveness.
- Participate in technical design as required in collaboration with Enterprise Architecture team staying abreast emerging technologies industry trends incorporate into organization’s practice.
- Establish track metrics for performance productivity customer satisfaction.

Requirements:
- Minimum of 10 years leading teams managing staff.
- Minimum of 5 years hands-on software development technical management building web-based software solution micro services API design etc.
- Excellent communication collaboration skills; ability effectively engage cross-functional teams external partners stakeholders drive successful feature system development projects.
- Proven leadership abilities; track record mentoring guiding technical teams fostering innovation delivering high-quality feature systems meet safety security performance objectives.
- Experience recruiting managing technical teams including performance management experience leader Agile/Scrum development experience working medium-large scale object-oriented software systems outstanding leadership skills ability successfully drive improvements willing take calculated risks achieve team departmental organizational goals excellent verbal written communication skills familiarity database systems SQL experience working API's integrations plus experience working Java JavaScript plus experience working automated GUI functional testing plus experience load stress testing tools plus experience web application security plus familiarity CI/CD plus education bachelor’s degree Computer Science Computer Engineering equivalent experience.
