We're seeking a highly skilled SC Cleared Principal Azure Cloud Architect ☁️ to lead the design, management, and maintenance of our customers' cloud architectures. You'll champion "cloud-first" adoption, develop cutting-edge cloud solutions, and contribute to the critical infrastructure of the UK Public Sector.
What You'll Do:
- Design & implement best-in-class cloud services leveraging DevOps principles. 🛠️
- Lead technical procurement and assurance for the MODCloud ecosystem.
- Define technical requirements & engage with key stakeholders. 🤝
- Conduct security assessments & testing of cloud-native services. 🛡️
- Support customers with technical queries & architecture alignment.
- Drive cultural change for cloud adoption & mentor team members. 👨🏫
- Work closely with the Cloud Centre of Excellence to ensure security & compliance. 🔒
- Develop and implement cloud strategies aligned with GDS standards.
- Participate in a hybrid work model with occasional travel to Corsham, Wiltshire. ✈️
What You'll Need:
- Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure cloud technologies (hands-on experience essential). ☁️
- Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., Azure Architect) preferred. 🏆
- Strong understanding of cloud computing deployment models & Infrastructure-as-Code. 🏗️
- Experience with DevOps practices, Agile methodologies, and CI/CD pipelines. ⏩
- Familiarity with Service Operations & ITIL principles.
- Excellent communication & collaboration skills. 🗣️🤝
- Ability to manage complex projects and meet tight deadlines. ⏳
- UK Government SC or DV clearance.
