Job Overview/Summary
We are seeking a talented Data Engineer to help design, build, and maintain data systems that power critical business decisions across our operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data pipelines, databases, and cloud technologies. You will work closely with our data science team to ensure data is accessible, accurate, and optimized for business intelligence.

Main Duties And Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable data pipelines to collect, process, and store data from multiple sources.
- Work with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and provide solutions that meet business needs.
- Build and optimize data models for reporting and analytics.
- Develop ETL processes to integrate data from various internal and external systems (e.g., supply chain, customer orders, inventory, etc.).
- Ensure data quality and integrity across all systems, with attention to accurate reporting and troubleshooting of data discrepancies.
- Collaborate with the data science and business intelligence teams to help drive insights from data.
- Continuously improve data systems by identifying bottlenecks and optimizing performance.
- Help monitor and maintain the health of the data infrastructure.
- Document data workflows, processes, and architectures for future reference and scalability.

About You
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience (3+ years) as a Data Engineer or in a similar data-focused role, ideally within a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
- Expertise in SQL and experience working with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.).
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure and cloud-based data storage solutions (e.g., S3, BigQuery, Redshift).
- Experience building and managing ETL pipelines, data integration, and data warehousing.
- Familiarity with data modeling, data governance, and data security best practices.
- Ability to work in a collaborative, agile environment, and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with the food subscription industry or e-commerce analytics is a plus.
