Cyber Security Project Manager (Banking/Financial Services) - 6 Month Rolling Contract

Location: Dubai, UAE - Visa Supplied if required

Day Rate up to £500 p/d with some flex

Paritas is working with a rapidly expanding IT Consultancy based in Dubai that is looking for a Cyber Security Project Manager responsible for planning, executing, and delivering IT infrastructure projects on time, within scope, and within budget.

The Cyber Security Project Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and successful delivery of cybersecurity projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and budget. This role involves managing resources, assessing risks, and communicating effectively with stakeholders to enhance the organization’s cybersecurity posture. The Project Manager ensures compliance with regulatory standards and the seamless implementation of security measures across the IT landscape.

Key Responsibilities
Project Planning and Initiation
Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables aligned with organizational cybersecurity strategies.
Develop detailed project plans, incorporating timelines, budgets, and resource requirements.
Identify stakeholders, establish roles, and design communication strategies for seamless coordination.
Execution and Delivery
Manage the deployment of cybersecurity measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and endpoint protection solutions.
Oversee third-party vendors for implementing solutions and internal teams for policy updates.
Ensure projects adhere to the defined scope, schedule, and budget.
Risk and Issue Management
Identify and assess risks related to cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities.
Develop and implement mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions or breaches.
Ensure compliance with cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, or GDPR.
Team Leadership and Collaboration
Lead cross-functional teams comprising IT, compliance, and external consultants.
Provide mentorship on cybersecurity best practices and foster a collaborative environment.
Stakeholder Communication
Deliver periodic updates to executives and other stakeholders, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
Act as the primary point of contact for project-related cybersecurity concerns.
Project Closure
Conduct post-implementation reviews to evaluate project outcomes against cybersecurity objectives.
Document lessons learned and suggest improvements for future security projects.
Ensure a smooth handover of cybersecurity tools and protocols to operational teams.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related fields.
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) preferred.
Experience managing cybersecurity projects, including threat detection systems, vulnerability assessments, and incident response plans.
Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA) and cybersecurity tools (e.g., SIEM, endpoint protection).

Skills and Competencies
Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, including risk management and threat analysis.
Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
Proven leadership skills and experience with team management.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Clear and concise communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.

Work Environment
May require occasional travel to data centres or client sites.
Hybrid or on-site work arrangements based on organizational policies.
