Description

Position: Data Engineer / SQL Developer

Location: Central London (hybrid role, 2-3 days in the office, option to work from home on other days)

Duration: 1 year contract

Compensation: Up to £400-550 per day, depending on experience, Outside of IR35

Requirements:

- Extensive T-SQL programming skills: Writing complex scripts, developing and optimizing stored procedures.
- Extensive SSIS skills: Rebuilding and optimizing ETL processes.
- Scripting experience: PowerShell, C#, and Python.
- Data warehousing knowledge: Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and architectures.
- WhereScape Red experience: Beneficial but not essential.
- Communication and interpersonal skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders and work in a team-oriented environment.

Role Overview:
The role involves redeveloping the data warehouse for a financial services client following a recent company acquisition, to serve the needs of both entities.
