Position Overview
We are seeking to engage with 2-3 highly experienced site representatives, on a contract basis, to supply professional construction site representation/project management services to a number of power generation or waste management infrastructure projects in England where Fichtner will act as the Owners Engineer. Projects will commence in the summer of 2025 onwards. Typical duration is 12 -24 months.

Responsibilities
These roles will support Owner’s engineering services on this project, liaising directly with our client, Fichtner's wider project team and all external suppliers, contractors, and authorities as necessary.

Qualifications
You will need:
• HNC/HND or above qualification in mechanical or civil engineering;
• Prior project experience in power generation, waste handling/processing is desirable;
• First aid and fire awareness qualifications plus a recognised health and safety qualification;
• Familiarity with initial and ongoing civil/structural/mechanical process works;
• Experience in keeping daily records of site activities, materials deliveries, construction milestones reached, contractors’ personnel onsite and any environmental, quality or health and safety incidents;
• General knowledge of the CDM 2015 Regulations;
• Good IT skills including report/minutes production skills;
• Prior experience in writing risk assessments and delivering site inductions;
• Understanding of quality systems/methodologies with ability to read/interpret inspection/test plans;
• Ability to quickly build lasting business relationships with EPCs clients & Fichtner’s engineers;

Remuneration
We offer a weekly rate for the duration of the project outside IR35 via your own limited company.
