Description
We are looking for a Mid-Level (3y+) Data & AI Engineer to work on a contract basis (Outside of IR35) for a client in the Media space.
Location:
- Onsite in Central London 2 days per week
Engagement Details:
- Initial 6 month engagement with a good chance of extension
- Budget: Around £400 per day, with a chance at £440 for strong candidates capable of qualifying for this on the rate card
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and API development using FastAPI or similar frameworks
- Experience with cloud platforms (preferably AWS) and data warehouses like Snowflake
- Familiarity with AI technologies, such as OpenAI APIs and generative AI tools
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on scalability, usability, and user experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
Key Responsibilities:
- API Development: Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable APIs to support internal and external stakeholders using frameworks like FastAPI
- Data Management: Define data requirements, manage data pipelines, and maintain data accuracy, availability, and scalability to support product functionalities
- Platform Innovation: Contribute to the design and implementation of new features and enhancements for data and API-driven platforms
- AI Feature Development: Collaborate on developing and deploying AI-driven solutions including MVPs and POCs for innovative use cases
- Generative AI: Implement generative AI technologies using platforms like OpenAI APIs to enhance product capabilities and deliver personalized experiences
