Job Description:
We’re looking for a skilled Infrastructure and Solutions Architect to join our team! In this role we are looking for someone to support strategic projects that align with LGC’s business vision; take ownership of infrastructure & solutions architecture; provide experienced advice to ensure consistency compliance & stability across all architectural designs! This role has the opportunity for someone to work Remotely based out of the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
- Actively supporting Business & IT projects as an Architecture SME for Infrastructure & business solutions.
- Developing Infrastructure & Solutions Architectures in line with our Architecture principles & LGC’s IT policies.
- Ensuring architectural design considerations are effectively embedded into delivery planning while aligning with business outcomes.
- Providing mentorship & expertise to members of wider IT organization/business community in design/implementation enterprise solutions.
- Proactively finding opportunities that will enable LGC meet its business/IT goals aligned common architectural principles.
- Embedding common ways working tooling/reporting across LGC architecture community aligned standard framework artefacts.
- Supporting ongoing continuous improvement of LGC’s architecture capability ensure it meets dynamic needs organization ambitions.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in Infrastructure Architecture design within context wider enterprise architecture framework.
- Experience Solution Architecture or willingness learn.
- Knowledge Purdue model OT network protocols experience working industrial manufacturing systems (PLCs SCADA) beneficial.
- Hands-on cloud infrastructure experience (Azure AWS), network segregation/software-defined-WAN experience distinct asset.
- Ability interpret complex technical information relation networks tailor implementation best suit LGC environment.
- Experience writing/presenting technical designs meet business needs.
- Familiarity Architectural frameworks such TOGAF Zachman Enterprise Architecture tools Erwin Evolve LeanX others beneficial
- Experience working within regulatory frameworks like GxP ISO would be beneficial
- Experience manufacturing life sciences industries also beneficial
