Overview:
Are you an expert in Kubernetes performance tuning with a passion for optimising large-scale clusters? Our client is seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to tackle challenges with a 21-node on-premises Kubernetes cluster, ensuring it operates at peak efficiency for massive workloads.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, configure, and optimize Kubernetes clusters across AWS, DigitalOcean, and on-premises environments.
- Analyse and fine-tune a 21-node on-prem Kubernetes cluster to enhance performance, stability, and scalability.
- Implement best practices for resource management, security, and high availability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve performance bottlenecks, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Collaborate with the applications team to align infrastructure tuning with application needs.
- Provide documentation and knowledge transfer for ongoing cluster maintenance.
Requirements:
- Proven expertise in Kubernetes (setup, tuning, scaling, troubleshooting).
- Strong experience with AWS, AZURE - DigitalOcean, and on-premises Kubernetes deployments.
- Deep understanding of resource allocation, networking, storage, and security within Kubernetes.
- Hands-on experience in optimising large-scale clusters for high-performance workloads.
- Automation experience with tools like Terraform, Helm, and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
- PHP/Laravel experience is a bonus - the applications team will assist with application-level tuning but familiarity is beneficial.
