Role Location
This role is located in Manchester office.

Impact Areas
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional team, including product owner, business analysts, scrum masters, front-end and back-end developers.
- Design, develop and implement microservices using Java Spring Boot, ensuring code is modular, testable and re-usable.
- Design, develop and implement responsive and intuitive user interfaces using Angular and TypeScript/Java ensuring an exceptional user experience.
- Ensure seamless integration and communication between front-end and back-end components.
- Create RESTFul APIs (gRPC) to enable smooth communication between microservices and external systems.
- Conduct regular code reviews, unit testing, CI; maintain high code quality and reliability.
- Develop and present high-level design proposals, renderings,and presentations to clientsand stakeholders.
- Provide strategic input & decisioning; manage & reduce blockers; ensure continuous flow or work; help pod owners refine & reprioritize pod backlogs.
- Foster a culture of collaboration; actively participate in team brainstorming sessions; share knowledge across pods.
- Support team members in navigating challenges; resolve conflicts; ensure alignment with projects overall vision.
- Provide mentorshipand guidance to junior team members,fostering their professional growthand technical development.

Qualifications
To be successful in this role,we're seekingthe following:
- Strong expertise in Core / Advanced Javaand OOP.
- Proficiencyin front-end technologies:Angular , TypeScript , HTML , CSS , JavaScript .
- Experience indevelopingand deployingmicroservices architecturesusing Spring Boot , Spring Batch , Spring Dataor similar frameworks .
- Knowledgeof JIRA , Junitand Apache Kafkaare preferred.Success standing up new teams,fostering growthand development,andteam collaboration .
- Effective coachand mentor.Abilityto influence,makehard decisions,andproblem-solve .
- Passionfor changingthe status quo ;driving outof-the-box thinking.Abilityto adaptandlead throughchange .
- Bachelor's degreein computer science engineering,informatio n technologyor related disciplineor equivalentwork experience required.
- Extensiveexperienceof deliveringdigital transformationinitiativesin agileworking environment .
- Proven track recordof delivering successful adopted solutions.Active learnerwho understandsmodern architecture patternsand is not afraidto diveinto complexbusiness processes.Excellent communicator.Abilityto translatecomplex technicalconceptsto nontechnicalstakeholders .
