Location: Manchester - 3 days a week on site

Overview:
Are you a DevOps Engineer looking for your next exciting contract? We’re offering a 6-month Outside IR35 opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and enable teams to build and release software efficiently, securely, and at speed.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with development teams to implement best practices in source code control, environment management, automated builds, and software releases.
- Streamline the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and ensure a faster flow of work through automation and continuous improvement.

Key Deliverables:
- Define and document SDLC processes and environment configurations across teams.
- Standardise and implement source code management tools.
- Enhance observability, monitoring, and alerting to improve system reliability.
- Automate build and release processes, including CI/CD pipelines.
- Develop and maintain a backlog of continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to drive best DevOps practices.

Requirements:
- Strong experience in DevOps on SaaS Platforms / low-code solutions.
- Proven track record in implementing and standardising SDLC across multiple teams.
- Expertise in CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and release management.
- Deep understanding of observability, monitoring, and application performance.
- Knowledge of solution design, system architecture, and security best practices.
- Excellent technical documentation, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Agile mindset with experience working in Agile development environments.
