Join us as a Strategic Finance Manager
Overview:
We'll look to you to provide commercial and financial analysis to help influence key business decisions across pricing, reforecasting, and business cases. You'll act as a finance business partner assessing the forecast for deposit balances, working with teams on the pricing of fixed savings accounts and the review of deposit balance flows to understand customer behaviour. Gain valuable exposure and hone your expertise as you advance your career in this analytical and insight-driven role. We're offering this role for a period of 12 months.
Responsibilities:
As a Strategic Finance Manager within Retail Finance, you'll help to drive value for the business and assist the leadership team in making key product, cost, and investment-specific decisions by providing insight and market knowledge while helping to manage the financial performance of the business.
You'll also be:
- Understanding and challenging financial performance, providing relevant and meaningful insight to the business including internal and external MI such as competitor analysis.
- Collaborating with other Finance teams to provide specific financial plans, forecasts, stress testing, customer market or segment analysis.
- Supporting the provision of review and challenge to ensure optimum use of resources presented in investment decisions and business cases.
- Using data analytics thinking required to solve strategic problems using latest tools/techniques contributing towards automation/simplification of key Finance-wide services such as dashboards.
- Analyzing financial regulatory change impact on products/services.
- Providing investment tracking/forecasting reviews.
Skills Required:
To succeed in this role, you'll need good stakeholder management skills along with planning/organization capabilities. You'll need the ability to deal with ambiguity, uncertainty/risk while working in a flexible environment.
