Project Overview
We have a consulting assignment available for a Digital Design Engineer to work on a high-profile defence project based in the North East of London.
Role Responsibilities
- Assist with the engineering development of electronics from clean sheet requirements.
- Support requirement and architecture definition and maturation.
- Design new PCB level electronics to work alongside COTS modules.
- Collaborate with the wider project team for integration and qualification.
Requirements
- On-site presence required a minimum of 2 days per week.
- Initial assignment duration: 6 months, with an option for extension.
- Role is outside of IR35.
- Highly desirable: UK national status with ability to gain SC clearance.
Desired Experience
Consultants should have experience in:
- Knowledge of all stages of the engineering development life cycle.
- Proven experience completing electronics design from scratch (blank sheet).
- Familiarity with various PCB design tools.
- DFx knowledge specifically Design for EMC.
