Role Responsibilities
- Aid in the development of benchmarking database
- Deliver excellent client service through quality assurance
- Represent AtkinsRéalis within client teams
- Attend customer meetings ensuring clarifications are available
- Provide professional advice on cost
- Work independently producing estimates at various stages using different methods
- Undertake estimating, cost planning & estimate assurance exercises
Required Skills
- Excellent understanding of industry benchmarks/best practices
- Quantity surveying skills with comprehensive understanding of construction industry
- Ability to convert engineering data into meaningful cost drivers
- Strong communication skills for presenting cost work concisely
- Knowledge/experience using estimating software packages
Desirable Skills
- Recognised expertise in cost estimating
- Experience within Nuclear/Traditional/Renewable Energy Generation industries preferred but not essential
- Sound understanding of relevant AACE RP's
Qualifications
Degree level in a construction-related field or equivalent experience/qualifications is required.
Desirable membership: RICS / CIOB / A.Cost E.
Experience Required
Experience on significant infrastructure projects especially major programmes.
Proven track record in technical excellence across infrastructure projects including rail transport or energy sectors.
Technical ability for challenging engineering teams regarding efficient design solutions.
