The Energy Division at ARM are currently recruiting an experienced Project HSE Manager to join a Global EPC company based in South West London for an upcoming offshore installation project.
Job Overview:
- Ensure correct development, management and improvement of Project HSE Management System throughout the engineering and development phases (EPIC) of the project.
- Plan and coordinate the activities of all HSE personnel working both in design and on sites.
- Define criteria and references for developing project HSE plans and for undertaking specific studies and global analysis evaluating plant/platform performance in normal operating and upset conditions.
Some Of Your Duties Will Include:
As a Project HSE Manager candidates will:
- Advise and Support Project Director and Project Manager in regard to HSE activities/issues.
- Liaise continuously with the Project Management team, project personnel, Client HSE representatives, and Company QHSE Management.
- Assign, Plan, and coordinate the activities of all project HSE personnel working both in offices and on sites.
- Perform correct development, management, and improvement of Project HSE Management System throughout the engineering phases (EPCI) of the project.
- Define criteria for developing project HSE plans; undertake specific studies as needed.
- Read, understand, apply Contract requirements along with Company/Client requirements.
- Ensure design/construction activities by Saipem comply with Contract/Client/Company standards including local legislation & International Standards (ISO14001, ISO45001 & OSHAS18001).
- Define overall project strategies from an HSE perspective; review designs accordingly.
- Conduct pre-construction surveys/reviews; identify safety criticalities/environmental sensitive areas; design mitigation measures.
- Coordinate Risk Management processes (i.e., Risk Screening, HAZOPs).
- Identify potential emergency scenarios; develop preparedness/response plans.
- Plan periodic audits at projects/sites; ensure adequate performance monitoring/reporting towards stakeholders.
- Identify training needs/develop training programs/campaigns related to health/safety/environmental issues.
- Suggest/implement initiatives raised by Clients/project worksites actively participate as needed.
- Promote periodical reviews ensuring proper close-out reports are generated post-project completion.
