About the role:
The primary purpose of the SAP Business Analyst is to lead the design and delivery of best in class, fit to standard record-to-report processes across our clients organisation, enabling a wide range of functions. The SAP BA will be at the forefront of leveraging SAP S/4 HANA functionality to drive efficiency in process through automation with accuracy and improved analytics for decision-making. The project is multi-phased, with phase 1 being of primary focus. Delivery in to include SAP S/4 Hana with Central finance, Cash Management, Treasury Management, MBC and SAP Document Reporting and Compliance with Blackline fast close. This forms the foundation for future phases including the evolution of Middle Office and full integration to our Front Office booking system.

Responsibilities:
- Process analysis and enhancement: Analyse existing processes, identify inefficiencies, and design future, fit-to-standard and optimised solutions using SAP S/4 HANA capabilities.
- Requirement gathering and documentation: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements, translate them into functional specifications alongside our 3rd party delivery partners, and manage the life cycle of these requirements through to delivery.
- Solution design and validation: Contribute to the design and configuration of the new enterprise structures, analytics model, and month-end close processes - enabled by modules such as profit Centre accounting, cost Centre accounting and controlling profitability analysis (COPA) within SAP S/4 HANA.
- Data cleansing and data mapping: Oversee and drive data cleansing initiatives, ensuring data accuracy consistency completeness within processes Develop maintain strategies seamless transfer across systems eg ECC Central Finance
System integration testing Ensure seamless other external Conduct guarantee reliability UAT support help existing team management analysis results manage defects closure PGLS Act subject matter expert SME assist training smooth adoption functionalities
