Project Overview:
This role involves working on a key project to migrate from an MPLS network to an SDWAN solution. The client operates within the manufacturing sector and requires a skilled Networking Engineer to lead and execute this critical migration.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage the migration from MPLS to SDWAN.
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot LAN environments, particularly with Cisco equipment.
- Utilize SilverPeak Edge Connect (HPE Edge Connect) for SDWAN configurations and optimizations.
- Ensure thorough documentation of processes, configurations, and changes.
- Collaborate with the internal IT team and stakeholders across the organization to deliver the project on time.

Must-Have Skills:
- LAN Expertise: Hands-on experience with Cisco networking equipment.
- SDWAN Expertise: Strong knowledge and experience with SilverPeak Edge Connect (now HPE Edge Connect).
- Documentation Skills: Ability to produce high-quality, detailed technical documentation.
- Work Ethic: Strong sense of responsibility and commitment to delivering quality work.

Strongly Preferred Skills:
- Palo Alto Prisma Access: Familiarity with Palo Alto’s cloud-delivered security solution.
- Manufacturing Experience: Previous experience working in manufacturing environments, understanding their unique networking and operational challenges.

Role Details:
Location: Remote, with very occasional travel to EU sites and occasional meetings at the Reading HQ.
Rate: £400 - £450 per day.
IR35 Status: Outside IR35.
Contract Length: February to December 2025.
